Largest Watershed in the World
The Mississippi River Watershed is vast, covering almost half of the continental United States. Therefore developing meaningful solutions requires collaboration of private and public partners looking at the whole river system, crafting a common vision and seeking collective goals and actions.
AWI serves as a trusted voice, connecting people, land, & water to secure a future in which the rivers and people of the Mississippi River Watershed thrive.

Building Partnership
AWI has been leading the co-creation of the Mississippi River Watershed Partnership–a vehicle to generate broad support, foster dialogue, and elevate the work of our partners.
