The Mississippi River Watershed Partnership identified over 30 goals and actions across 5 key issue areas aimed at improving the resilience, health, and safety of the watershed. We are now advancing 10 priority actions to begin that work.

Update the economic profiles of the Upper and Lower Mississippi River Basins, and create economic profiles of the Missouri, Ohio/Tennessee, and Arkansas/Red/White River Basins.

Conduct a gap analysis to identify where increased investment is needed, using an inventory of actions (e.g., funding, BMP implementation, load reductions) from projects implemented through NRCS programs, Clean Water Act-authorized initiatives, and other relevant programs.
