Partnership Actions
The Mississippi River Watershed Partnership came together to build out goals and actions in each of the 5 key issue areas. This resulted in over 30 actions that the Partnership wants to take in order to make the Mississippi River Watershed healthy and safe for all. We are now focusing in on 10 of those actions that the Partnership will start moving forward.

Update the economic profiles of the Upper and Lower Mississippi River Basins, and create economic profiles of the Missouri, Ohio/Tennessee, and Arkansas/Red/White River Basins.

Conduct a gap analysis to identify where increased investment is needed, using an inventory of actions (e.g., funding, BMP implementation, load reductions) from projects implemented through NRCS programs, Clean Water Act-authorized initiatives, and other relevant programs.
