Building the Framework

In 2013 and 2014, the Steering Committee explored options for integrated river basin management and landed on a unifying “report card” approach. The University of Maryland was hired to convene more than 400 organizations across a series of sub-basin workshops. Initiative Director Jordy Jordahl was brought on to synthesize thousands of findings and recommendations into a framework for grading the watershed’s health and performance.
