Building the Partnership

Throughout 2022 and 2023, AWI pursued high-level meetings in Washington, D.C. with federal agency leadership and convened in-watershed gatherings with leaders of multi-state alliances to lay the groundwork for a formal Mississippi River Watershed Partnership. A second staff member, Sierra Schuchard, Program Manager for the Partnership joined the team.
